Feb. 2007 – June 2008: Prof. Dr. A. Nazli Basak Neurodegeneration Research Laboratory
Investigation of protein-protein interactions in ALS by two-hybrid screening.
April 2007: Project Manager of ‘Producing Alternative Solutions to Acute Injuries’ whose project team is composed of 4 undergraduates. This project of the Project and Research Club aims to produce a wound covering material that is able to stop haemorrhage in a very short time. For this purpose we are synthesizing a hydrogel polymer and adding a polyphenol with coagulant and antimicrobial activity to it. We will then check for the release pattern of this chemical substance by the hydrogel which we will synthesize in the laboratories of Chemistry Department of Bogazici University.
